While the service at this establishment is commendable and the location is beautiful, the front desk staff, particularly Diane, tarnish the overall experience. During my last visit, Diane displayed condescending and rude behavior from the moment I arrived until the appointment concluded. Her attitude, coupled with unwarranted glares, was unprofessional. Additionally, the practice of cancelling appointments because a client did not speak directly to an employee seems unnecessary. Following up with them over the phone proves challenging, as calls often go unanswered or result in long hold times. This lack of efficient communication, especially for those with busy schedules, makes it difficult to consider returning.
I typically refrain from leaving reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience. Since 2021, I have been a client at LA Beauty Skin Center in Glendale and have had the pleasure of being treated by Nurse Stephanie. She is truly exceptional - not only is she a skilled injector, but she is also honest and kind. Stephanie possesses a keen eye for aesthetics and never pressures me into unnecessary treatments. In fact, she often dissuades me from getting additional filler, even when I mention it during my visits. I have complete trust in her expertise and cannot recommend her enough.
I've been frequenting this place for over a year for laser treatments. Despite living quite far away, I make the lengthy journey due to being satisfied with the results. Recently, after knee surgery, I mistakenly booked an appointment for the wrong day, Saturday instead of Sunday, less than 24 hours before the scheduled time. When I explained my situation - my recent surgery and the need for my partner to drive me - they refused to make an exception and insisted on charging a 50% cancellation fee as per their policy. While I understand the policy, I had hoped for some flexibility given the circumstances, especially considering my long-standing patronage and current physical limitations. Apart from this incident, the laser treatments have been effective.
