Absolutely delightful experience at this fantastic hair studio. The staff is incredibly talented and welcoming. I highly recommend it to anyone in search of a new salon. After some previous unpleasant experiences with stylists, Megan immediately put my nerves at ease. She is exceptionally patient and has truly made me enjoy getting my hair done. Her expertise with colors is outstanding, and I am always thrilled with the results.
After paying $300 plus tip for a service, I was left with hair dye all over my face, ears, and neck. My appointment was delayed by an hour, forcing me to cancel another appointment. The situation was so bad that I was relieved I had canceled the other appointment. The amount of dye that ended up everywhere was unbelievable, and to top it off, my shirt was wet and my hair wasn't fully dried. It seems the saying "you get what you pay for" doesn't apply here. This experience was completely unacceptable. UPDATE ON THIS REVIEW! I spoke with the manager, and it turns out I was overcharged. She adjusted the price and deducted $70 for the haircut. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse as I ended up with a chemical burn on my neck from the dye. I have pictures documenting the burn before and after cleaning it. It's definitely a chemical burn, and I will be getting it checked out. The salon manager claimed it was just skin irritation due to sensitivity and excessive scrubbing. However, I did not scrub my skin, as it was extremely painful this morning. She offered a complimentary service to address the burn, but at this point, I have lost trust in anyone there to touch my hair. The entire experience was a nightmare. There is no excuse for such sloppiness and incompetence, especially when charging premium prices. I don't mind paying for quality service, but this was far from it. Making excuses instead of taking responsibility is highly disappointing.
Mae did an exceptional job with my daughter's thick hair. She expertly handled the combination of kinky curls in the front and long waves in the back, shaping her hair beautifully while maintaining its health and length. Mae also took the time to explain the process to my daughter, making it easier for us to care for her hair at home. A top-notch stylist and salon, I give it a perfect 10 out of 10!
