I have been a resident for over 5 years. Dr. Patel is a very skilled Surgeon and caring Healthcare Provider. The reason for my low rating is the inefficiency of the office systems and untrained staff. The Front desk team at the Springfield Office used to be excellent but now lacks patience and proper training. The patient portal is ineffective and offers little information. Despite being touted as the best system, it has been incomplete since my initial visit in 2019. There are also issues with managing referrals from primary care providers and communicating patients' medical records back to them. I hope Dr. Patel considers this feedback constructively and implements changes in the office for a superior patient experience. I believe you can improve.
The physician is pleasant, but I am disappointed that I will need a third visit to reopen the incision, as it was not done correctly initially. Consequently, I will endure the Facial Pain I experienced after the first surgery. It is frustrating as my face appears slightly distorted, and as a woman, we desire our appearance to be as good as possible. I am dissatisfied with having to undergo this process again.
Visited for the excision of a cancerous area for the first time. The staff who scheduled the procedure was very thorough. Upon arrival, the front desk staff was friendly. Every staff member who assisted me was attentive and addressed my needs and concerns. Though the process was lengthy, it had been explained beforehand. I am extremely satisfied with the entire procedure. Dr. Patel was gentle, explaining each step during the procedure. He continuously checked if I had any questions and was willing to clarify. Just be prepared for the potentially long duration of the procedure.
