I have been frequenting this nail salon since I relocated to Portland every fortnight for 7 cycles. Whether enduring a lengthy wait or arriving right at the opening, the service always feels rushed. The end result of the manicures is far from satisfactory - the nails turn out lumpy, bumpy, and uneven. The application of polish is quite stingy; unless you specifically request multiple coats, you will not receive them. This leads to a translucent appearance of the nails, with the color not appearing as vibrant as chosen. While the salon shows promise, the presence of numerous independent nail technicians who charge either less or the same amount for services makes it clear that better care and satisfaction can be found elsewhere. Thank you, Nancy Nails, but I will not be returning.
Having my nails and feet pampered at Nancy's is always a delightful experience. The staff is pleasant, and the wait time is minimal, usually around 10 minutes. However, their prices are on the higher end, likely due to malfunctioning dryers and limited waiting area space. If, like me, you opt for a full set and a pedicure, be prepared to spend at least $100.
