Take note of the date of my previous post... During my recent visit for a full set, Lisa attempted to increase the price by $15 from my usual rate of $40. Despite consistently receiving the same service, she insisted on charging $45 this time. Upon presenting my past receipts and bank statements to prove my regular payment amount, she brushed it off and proceeded to charge me the higher price. After years of patronage, encountering such unprofessional behavior is unacceptable, and I have decided not to return. Furthermore, she negligently cut two of my fingers, initially dismissing it and later displaying an attitude when I expressed discomfort due to the rushed service. It was evident that she prioritized serving another customer who had walked out due to a pricing discrepancy, showcasing a money-driven approach with little regard for customer satisfaction. Additionally, I noticed unsanitary practices, such as the reuse of tools on multiple clients, prompting me to bring my own tools, which was met with disapproval.
I have been a regular patron at this establishment for more than 2 years now. The teamwork and multitasking skills displayed by Lisa and her spouse are truly commendable. I can easily convey my preferences to Lisa, and she consistently delivers excellent results. When it comes to getting my nails and pedicure done, I only trust this place. The familiarity they have with me, my sister, and my mother adds an extra layer of comfort to the experience.
My loyalty to this salon spans approximately 5 years. To those who critique the pricing, consider the general inflation affecting all businesses. Compared to similar establishments in Plano and Allen, Moda offers services at a significantly lower cost. Lisa and her spouse genuinely prioritize customer satisfaction, although during peak hours, they may appear rushed to accommodate all clients efficiently. Despite the salon's slightly worn appearance, the quality of manicures and pedicures remains exceptional. I will continue to support this establishment, recognizing the value they provide.
