The proprietor is incredibly kind, and her dog was a delightful surprise! He sniffs you upon arrival, and once you pet him, he goes and lies down. Such a good boy. My pedicure was flawless, and the prices are very reasonable. Since I was the only customer there, I enjoyed conversing with the owner. She is an absolute sweetheart, and I will definitely return!
I adore this establishment; Mary's nail salon skills are top-notch! I have visited multiple times, including every holiday, and she always does an exceptional job. I even drove five hours from my new school to Chai Hong Rainbow just to see her because she is worth it.
This lady's attitude was quite unpleasant, assuming she can speak to you however she pleases due to her nine years of nail experience. She claims to do it for "fun," yet my experience at this establishment was one of my worst. It should not have been so terrible, especially if you are doing nails for enjoyment. It was likely even worse than Lucky Nails. I received a fill on a fresh set, and she insisted they broke because I needed an entirely new set, which is not accurate. Any skilled nail technician would not want to damage your natural nails, especially when you just had them done two weeks ago. Two of my nails broke on a Sunday night, and when I called her, I was very polite. However, she was yelling at me, claiming I did not know what I was talking about and insisting that I come immediately so she could fix them and show me why they broke. I explained that I had to go to work but called to inform her, as she had promised to fix them for free if they broke, showing her confidence. Now, my number is blocked, and she also made me tip her 15 dollars. I gave her a $10 tip, and she took back the $5 she handed me, saying that it was a cheap tip. If I could give her a fraction of one star, that's what I would rate her. The nail polish is not even smooth; you can see the paint lines throughout.
