First off, the team is incredibly friendly and empathetic. I received a double nose piercing by Adam at Tattoo Nouveau, who graciously helped fix a mistake I made while trying to change the jewelry while he was at Independent Ink for the day. He patiently answered my questions and chuckled at my nervous jokes throughout the process, so I truly value their time today. I highly recommend him as he is arguably one of the best piercers in the region. (: You'll be pleased!
Jamie did a stellar job, my inaugural tattoo experience here. This was my tenth. She sketched everything except the two main roses. The ambiance was very welcoming. The price was a bit higher than I'm accustomed to, at $150 per hour. I placed a $100 deposit, and the session lasted 2 hours. The deposit can be settled with cash or card, but the remaining balance must be paid in cash. The only downside was the total time spent there. A friend and I both got tattoos that day, his taking an hour and a half. Our appointment was at 1:30, and we didn't leave until well after 7. It felt like there were many unnecessary distractions. Despite that, it was a positive experience.
I scheduled with Alexis when I opted for this one. They responded promptly, and I got an appointment right away. I am extremely satisfied with her work, and I plan on booking with her in the future if possible. She has a very relaxed approach and takes her time, which is well worth it ⭐
