I've only encountered one friendly staff member so far. The store environment is okay, but some aisles are a bit dusty and unkempt. Overall, I'd rate it 3 stars.
In the college towns of Fredonia and Dunkirk, Mega Lots is a top shopping destination in the area. It offers high-quality products at affordable prices and is rarely overcrowded. Additionally, college staff members receive a discount, which I'm sure is a great help for all their needs, including school supplies and more.
I love my shopping trips at Mega Lots in the D&F Plaza in Dunkirk, not just for the great deals I always find. The staff here are exceptional, and I mean that in the best way possible. If you need help, you can easily spot an employee, yet I've never felt pressured by an overly eager staff member. I've had experiences in other stores where I've been hounded by employees in every aisle, which led me to leave and never return. But at Mega Lots, the relaxed and low-pressure atmosphere keeps me coming back.
