Although I don't reside in Fredericksburg, I noticed Nail Studio while visiting the laundromat nearby and the former Big Lots store. Today, on a whim after work, I decided to stop by for a pedicure and eyebrow wax. Tina did an exceptional job and was incredibly welcoming. After being a loyal customer for four years, I have decided to never return. Although I appreciate Tina's service for my eyebrows, the male staff member at the front desk with glasses displayed extreme rudeness. When inquiring about eyebrow services, he responded dismissively and even gestured for us to leave. His lack of customer service skills was appalling. I strongly advise against visiting this establishment.About

Alexis is phenomenal! They were able to accommodate me in their schedule the day after my service request. I opted for sugaring: full legs, Brazilian, and underarms. Their space was exceptionally clean, they were incredibly professional and made me feel extremely at ease, and they're very thorough! Alexis definitely takes their time to ensure they're catching every tiny hair and leaving none behind! I absolutely adore this establishment. Every aspect of it provides top-tier treatment. I stumbled upon this hidden gem a decade ago and now that I've returned to Virginia, I am eagerly looking forward to seeing everyone again, especially the owner. She truly is the best!

The stylists here are truly skilled. They work with precision and efficiency. We hardly had to wait; we were seated for just about 4 minutes. The haircut itself took only 15 minutes and turned out exactly as requested. The salon offers services for both men and women, and the prices are unbeatable. Conveniently located in the Fredericksburg Shopping Center with ample parking, this clean establishment has a large TV for entertainment. Suspected discriminatory actions. This establishment supposedly welcomes walk-ins, so I entered 30 minutes before their stated opening time as the sign indicated they were open. Upon arrival, I was immediately told they were fully booked and asked if I had an appointment, without inquiring about it first. I responded negatively, mentioning the supposed possibility of walk-ins. It was a Saturday morning at 8:30. The response from the nail technician was a blunt no. There was no effort made to suggest a return time that day or the next, but rather, I was told to return the following Saturday. This struck me as odd. I was the only customer present aside from one being attended to, with another technician idly sitting. I became suspicious as the demeanor of the person I interacted with seemed peculiar and indifferent. I observed from the parking lot as they promptly served white customers without delay or questioning, while turning away other black customers. Caution is advised with such establishments. If they advertise walk-ins, there should be a staff member available to accommodate walk-ins. Yet, it seemed that walk-in services were not accessible to individuals who resembled me at this salon. Kaia is truly exceptional! The finest haircut and color I've had in all my 41 years!!! I've never made such a statement before or disclosed my age ;-). She absolutely nailed my color today! I stumbled upon this gem of talent and a delightful personality after taking a leap of faith and booking an appointment for my son's first haircut in four years (we resorted to DIY after a disastrous cut in 6th grade). Witnessing the smile on his face after Kaia's remarkable work was a priceless moment. He exuded confidence, which is invaluable for a 16-year-old with a unique style. Her skillful texturizing of his thick hair convinced me that she was the perfect choice for both of us!!! I just discovered her and wow Tanni is incredible!!! Firstly, she completed my brows in just 10 minutes. The least painful threading experience I've had despite my very thick and long eyebrows. She is also very kind. My brows are more like sisters than twins, but she made them almost identical. Adore her. She will be my go-to threader. Thank you Tanni! Wrote this review immediately after my session lol.
Edit: I forgot to mention. I tend to break out easily around my eyebrows after threading, especially after a long gap. I inquired if she had anything, and she applied rose water afterward. I suggest using aloe vera too just in case if you have highly sensitive skin.
