Applefest 2022 marked our inaugural visit to Franklin, Pennsylvania. Our arrival was met by a rather irritable, patronizing, elderly gentleman with a beard who was managing traffic. He proceeded to raise his voice at us after gesturing for us to proceed, which we did, albeit slightly. Apparently, that wasn't what he intended, but there was no justification for his yelling and rudeness. As we strolled towards the vendors, we found ourselves in close quarters with people practically stepping on each other. After a lackluster apple dumpling, we decided to depart. We have no inclination to attend this event again. I only rate it 2 stars due to the friendly demeanor of the other firefighters and police officers assisting with directions.
The Apple festival happening this weekend boasts 300 food and craft vendors. Don't miss the car show today and Sunday!
An exceptional effort in creating, organizing, and setting up. Collaborating with the remarkable individuals of Franklin, Pennsylvania Chamber of Commerce and tourism bureau was as gratifying as it was fulfilling.
