This is my favorite spot in Indianapolis. The salon is spotless and inviting, and the staff members are exceptionally courteous. Even without an appointment, you're usually seated in a reasonable amount of time. The pink nail set in the photo is two weeks old and shows no signs of lifting or any problems. The red nails are fill-ins and were completed swiftly with top-notch quality. Both designs were crafted by Kelly. I will definitely be a returning customer.
Update 10.27.20: Glam Nails is open and quiet on Mondays and Tuesdays. Still producing stunning results! Update: Once again, Lisa impresses with her innovative colors and designs. She recently introduced a crackle effect, and I couldn't resist. Check out the pictures below. Consistently a fantastic experience. Friendly staff. Skilled nail artist. I'll continue to share photos of my nail designs. Update 7.27.20 - Second visit post-quarantine, and it was just as wonderful. This time, I went for bright pink nails with a yellow flower, a choice I left to Lisa, and she did an excellent job.
This was the most dreadful nail appointment I've ever had. The nail artist did not remove any cuticles during my manicure and failed to give me the desired nail length and shape. Furthermore, she scolded me for not knowing what I wanted and refused to redo the process or remove the nails, claiming it would take up too much of her time. Surprisingly, there were no other clients in the salon, and the other technicians were lounging in the pedicure chairs on their phones. When I returned home, my nails were bulky and uneven, with overly thick tips due to her rushed work and lack of final filing. I will never revisit this salon, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone new to nail services or uncomfortable in a salon setting.
