I have taken in at least 3 pairs of my spouse's Stacy's for soles. It's a tradition his own father would handle in Mexico when he was young. To discover this level of skill in this era is exceedingly rare. Leather can be pricey but if you can afford it, you should be able to maintain it. Since it's just traditional craftsmanship, we expected to pay a lot more. The cost was quite fair and well worth it.
