I have been taking my 2-year-old to the Glen Burnie salon for his haircuts since he turned 1. We always ask for Stacey and only go on the days she is working. She is amazing with my son. Stacey is incredibly patient and engages with him to keep him calm and reassured. She allows us to try different seating arrangements (on my lap or in the chair by himself). We adore her. He will only cooperate for her to cut his hair.
Kyle was INCREDIBLE! I wanted to go from shoulder-length to a very short haircut. We discussed various options, and he listened attentively. He did a FANTASTIC job! I am absolutely THRILLED with my new hairstyle! Kyle even made detailed notes on the computer for the staff for my future visits to other Great Clips locations! I am overjoyed! Ask for Kyle!
The hairstyle I requested for my son was completely different from the one I showed the stylist. I visited this salon twice as a new client with my son. The first time, he got a shaved head, and the second time, just a neckline trim. I was pleased with those visits. So, I returned for an actual haircut. However, I am extremely disappointed. Even after showing a picture to the stylist before the cut, she did not follow it at all. The result is a mushroom-like haircut with no faded steps as in the photo. Too much hair was cut off, and I had to ask her not to shave any higher. I will not be getting a haircut from this salon or this company again. I used to go to Snip-its in Gambrills, and I never had to show them a picture. Their haircuts were fantastic! I deeply regret coming here. It's not what I requested.
