When I phoned to schedule an appointment, I inquired about various services as it was my first visit. The woman I spoke with was incredibly pleasant and I expressed gratitude for her patience in addressing all my queries. I had planned to have my lashes permed and dyed, along with a manicure and pedicure all in one day. There was a promotion online offering 10% off for first-time visitors. She confirmed that the discount applied to everything done on that day and even provided me with the total cost based on the services I wanted. However, upon arrival for my appointment and during payment, I was informed that the discount only applied to the very first service done that day. I questioned this discrepancy as I had clarified it before booking. The receptionist responded with a confrontational attitude, making it seem like a power struggle. I was simply confused and disappointed, hoping that there had been a misunderstanding. Despite remaining non-confrontational, she was persistently rude in insisting that I was wrong. This was my initial visit and there was no welcoming atmosphere upon entering. The receptionist I spoke with kept asserting that I had misunderstood what a previous staff member had told me. I found her demeanor to be extremely impolite. She could have handled the situation more tactfully if I was indeed mistaken or sought assistance from a manager. Upon payment, I was not provided with a receipt to review the services rendered. She simply gestured towards a corner for me to choose a nail color. The first impression upon entering is crucial, especially for a new customer. Being a first-time visitor should have prompted her to make an effort to be more accommodating. I fail to comprehend her attitude over such a minor issue. The individual who did my nails was friendly. Unfortunately, it has not even been a week and my manicure is already peeling. This was not the positive experience I had anticipated.
