Jimmy consistently does an excellent job with my nails. I've been a loyal customer at Lucky Nails for nearly 6 years, and each visit leaves me delighted with my nails.
I visited this nail salon due to its convenient location. The ambiance could use some improvements and doesn't align with my personal style, but the cost was reasonable for the service provided. Despite clearly stating my preference for just a S&S treatment, I was asked twice if I wanted a pedicure, which was a bit frustrating. Typically, I spend over $65 on S&S treatments, but here it was only $40. However, the lack of attention to detail was evident, and I now understand why. I do not plan on returning to this salon.
I left feeling extremely dissatisfied with the service I received. Although I paid for a pedicure, the quality of the service was subpar. One foot was treated with oil and lotion, while the other received only oil. Despite paying for callus remover, the regular foot scrub was skipped, and the callus remover was left on my feet, leaving them feeling rough instead of soft. I noticed this issue when the nail technician began painting my toenails, causing smudging and uneven color application. When I pointed this out and suggested using alcohol or acetone to prevent chipping before applying the base coat, the technician seemed annoyed and called for assistance to understand my concerns. I was disappointed by the dismissive attitude I received, especially considering the lack of effort in providing proper procedures to prevent nail fungus. Additionally, I brought my niece for a manicure, and I was informed that adding dip to her treatment would cost $10 more than a regular $15 manicure, totaling $25. However, I was charged $45 for her dip treatment, which was not clearly communicated by Nancy.
