I absolutely adore Monique Michelle! I visit this African American owned establishment every three weeks consistently for body waxing. I refrain from using a blade on my skin. Ever since waxing with Monique, my skin has reverted to its natural tan hue in the shaded regions I used to shave. Recently, I've begun receiving lash extensions which endure much longer than lash strips and appear incredibly authentic! If possible, I would rate this establishment 6 stars! Monique is consistently punctual and efficient! I purchased a voucher for my sister and mother for Christmas to get a facial. My mom reached out and left a voicemail about booking an appointment but received no response. So, I took the initiative to call the provided number to schedule an appointment and left a voicemail. I also contacted the actual salon and left a voicemail. In both messages, I mentioned a refund. Shortly after, the calls were returned. My mom and sister scheduled an appointment for today and waited eagerly. This morning, the appointment was cancelled due to the esthetician “having to tow her car”. Utterly unprofessional, thoughtless, and inconvenient all the way through. I received a refund for the same reasons and I'll take my business where it is valued!
