Requested short curls, showed her the desired picture. She responded, "I've seen the photo, I know what you want." Proceeded to chop off all my hair, giving me a boyish cut. Will not return. Waiting for my hair to grow out again to have it corrected.
Scheduled my appointment for noon. Arrived 5 minutes early, but was told to wait as another client was just seated. Eventually, the walk-in was asked to leave and return later. Showed the stylist what I wanted, but she argued that my hair wasn't naturally curly. Had to show her a photo to prove it. She blow-dried my hair after washing, cut it dry, and refused to style it. Ended up scrunching my DRY hair with mousse, despite my insistence that it should be done on wet hair. Spritzed my hair with water a few times and declared we were finished. Got home, saw the result, and felt devastated. Will not be returning. If you have straight hair, she might be suitable. Unsure what to do next. My hair was mid-back length, asked her to retain as much length as possible, but due to the dry cut, she took off too much. She incorrectly indicated where my hair ended, resulting in a 4-inch shorter cut. Paid $50 and tipped $10, only realizing the extent of the damage when attempting to style it at home. Now in tears, will have to get it fixed elsewhere. The photo shows she cut the middle layer so short it resembles tentacles.
First visit, I received a shampoo, scissor trim with lovely texture. I was pleased. Second visit, I phoned to book at their convenience. I got an electric shear trim with no shampoo, despite requesting the same as last time. Now waiting for my hair to grow back to its usual length.
