My experience is with Hair Stylist Alex at Sunflower Salon. I needed a new stylist recently and had some stress in deciding who to take a chance with. Passing by frequently, this charming corner salon caught my eye. That's how I found Alex. They do a fantastic job, meticulous in detail, very welcoming, and offer a fair price. Give them a try if you need a stylist! I believe you'll be pleased.

One aspect to consider is who you are booking your appointment with. I recently moved to the area and tried multiple services with varying results. I got my hair styled, which was satisfactory. I had a waxing session, which was also decent. However, when I went in for a full set of French nails, I was extremely disappointed. The shaping was inconsistent, the sides and underneath the nails were not cleaned properly, no requested pink/white colors were used, leaving the plastic tips clearly visible, and the overall look was not up to par. When I raised my concerns, the stylist tried to convince me that this was normal, which I knew wasn't the case. In an attempt to "fix" it, they added gold (see attached images, as I didn't take any before hoping they would be corrected), which was not what I wanted (I had mentioned I was attending a funeral and wanted plain nails). Even after having them reshaped and filled elsewhere, the plastic tips were not securely attached, causing them to come off easily like press-on nails!! The salon is charming, and everyone is friendly, but it may not be the best choice for more intricate nail services.

Jessica is amazing And her salon is incredibly cozy. She creates a homely atmosphere and is so skilled with my daughter. She's exceptionally warm and caring. She's earned my loyalty for years to come.
