They consistently show politeness and maintain cleanliness. I appreciate their willingness to assist customers in finding what they need, even leaving the counter to do so. Their convenient location adds to the positive experience.
If you have lengthy locks, avoid the error I made by getting braids here. I arrived with thick, 14 to 16-inch hair, seeking medium to small knotless braids that weren't heavy. I asked for them to be no longer than bra strap length due to my wheelchair use. They claimed my hair was thick and wouldn't use much added hair... As the stylist did the front left side, I was fine with the braid size. I dozed off towards the end, only to wake to the stylist trimming my back braids with scissors. She said she was just tidying up the synthetic hair flyaways. She stopped the braid where my natural hair ended and asked for payment, which I gave. The stylist and store manager chatted in their language, exchanged money, and the manager finished my hair to meet my length request. She trimmed the ends with a razor and dipped them in hot water. She mentioned the hair I used was different and harder to seal. She also trimmed flyaways in some braids. When I got home and inspected, I found the back braids were uneven in size, with parts three times larger than agreed upon. One braid started unraveling, revealing cut hair. After taking down all the braids, I saw my hair had been cut throughout, losing density and length. I called the next day for a refund, but the manager said I should've returned for a fix. My usual stylist had to cut off 3 1/2 to 4 inches to repair the damage. I also lost density. In Georgia, braiders don't need formal training or a license, a tough lesson on trusting haircare professionals. Hopefully, this post helps others avoid a similar experience and make better choices.
My visit to Esthetique Beauty Supply was excellent as my teenage daughter shopped for hair products. The owner was kind and helpful throughout our time there.
