This establishment is not welcoming. I've visited a few times since moving here years ago. I often dye my hair and shop at Sally's, so I thought I'd check this place out. Turns out, it's only for licensed professionals, which was news to me on my recent visit. What bothered me is that I had browsed here multiple times without being informed of this rule. During my last visit, the lady (presumably the manager) was a bit odd. She wasn't in the store when my fiancée and I went in the evening. She panicked and said she was closed, yet she didn't lock the door while she was in the back room. That felt like a safety issue on her part, but she told us to come back when they were open. Fine. Finally had some cash and needed hair dye, so I went in (as a brown queer man). She greeted us, and we browsed while another white person was there. After about 10-15 minutes, she threatened to kick us out without explanation, so I asked why.
