Although I appreciated the service at the salon, I was disappointed with the outcome of my hair. The color, teal, I requested ended up showing blonde in some areas, and the dye stained my face and ears badly. I didn't notice these issues until I got home, and it was not what I had expected after spending a significant amount of money on the service and products recommended by the stylist.
I had a stylist named Jessica who was very friendly, but I was not satisfied with the haircut she gave me. I have bangs that I like to style as curtain bangs, and they were growing out, so I asked her to trim them. However, she only trimmed what was visible and didn't bother to part my hair to ensure she got all the bangs. When I got home, I had to fix the missed parts myself. Despite providing her with pictures and explaining my preference for a sharp V cut, my hair ended up with a round U shape. The haircut cost me $35, making it my most expensive and worst experience so far. While Jessica was kind, I was disappointed with the outcome and even received feedback from others that it looked choppy and not as desired.
After getting my hair professionally done for $40, I noticed that one side was more layered than the other once my hair dried. I had to fix it myself by adding more layers, which was frustrating considering the cost of the service. The result did not look as professional as I had hoped.
