Genevieve is a certified Deva curl specialist. It's the only haircut that suits me. I have thick, long, curly hair. Whenever I try other non-Deva curl certified places, I end up with uneven layers that do not blend well. She never cuts off too much and always takes the time to comprehend my desires. She truly understands how to cut curls!!! She can even rectify others' cuts.
Genevieve has consistently worked wonders on these curly locks for 2 1/2 years now. She is personable and possesses an incredible ability to recall the precise combination of highlights for my hair from memory! Her skill in layering my curls is exceptional; no matter my frustrations with the world, I appear approachable and warm. The world appreciates you, Lather!
I generally refrain from sharing negative feedback, but I am truly disappointed by the unkind behavior of Genevieve. I was extremely eager to utilize her services - to the extent that I took a day off to drive into Denver for my appointment. Just before my appointment was due to start, while I was already in Denver, Genevieve messaged me that she had to cancel because her son was unwell and proposed rescheduling for the following week. I completely empathized and wished her son a swift recovery. After suggesting dates and times to reschedule, she completely ignored me. She would not respond to any texts or calls on her personal or business phone. Not only did I wait for three months for this appointment, I took a whole day off work and drove an hour to see her. I even had to postpone my colorist appointment because I needed my haircut first. Genevieve, it was unkind of you to ignore me after all the waiting and flexibility I showed in accommodating your schedule.
