The staff at Lovely Nails are polite and skilled. I've had my nails done here before, so I decided to treat myself to a pedicure. The service was good, but the technician seemed to be in a rush. There were only three customers, including myself, and I was the sole individual receiving a pedicure. The color and cut were satisfactory until we reached the final two toes.
My daughter and I frequent this establishment. The staff is incredibly pleasant, and their work is top-notch. We've tried other salons but always find ourselves returning here. The atmosphere is lovely.
Can I possibly give a single star? This was my initial visit to Lovely Nails, so I opted for a simple design. I typically prefer to let the technicians showcase their usual style on a first visit without much input. I found it odd that there was an elderly woman and man working, especially on a busy Friday before Mother's Day. I was informed of a 2-hour wait upon arrival. During my wait, I noticed that 4 people who arrived before me ended up leaving. The elderly gentleman began my pedicure. I inquired about a specific design, to which he confirmed it was feasible. The pedicure was satisfactory. The elderly woman proceeded to do a standard French manicure on my toes. She initially left some white polish on the sides without cleaning it up until I brought it to her attention. The toes looked decent. However, the gel top fill was a different story. The filling process was quick and efficient, with no pain or cuticle mishaps. Yet, there were small specks of black polish from the previous fill visible. When I showed her a picture of a simple French design with a slanted white tip and a dot marble accent, she seemed to struggle to comprehend. After a while, I gave up and simply requested a regular white French tip. The end result was disappointing - it appeared lumpy in certain areas, with rough spots on two fingers. The gel polish was visible on the skin of the fingers, and remnants of the previous black polish were noticeable. White polish was smeared on my fingers, and one thumb already showed signs of slight lifting. A truly awful job.
