Scheduled an appointment but had to cancel within 5 minutes due to unforeseen circumstances. Jacqueline, who answered the phone, insisted on charging me. While I understand company policies, it's unreasonable to charge a customer who promptly called back to cancel. I will not patronize this establishment again and will actively share my negative experience with others. Unacceptable customer service.
Visited the Emerson location for a facial today, where I was warmly welcomed by 4 different individuals. Carly, who performed my facial, provided an exceptional experience! For a first-time facial, it was truly remarkable. She was reassuring and informative. Additionally, Jackie and Jocelyn at the reception were incredibly kind; I had a delightful conversation with them. Thanks to the team there today, you made my Sunday :)
I have mixed feelings. I opted for a deep tissue massage and a facial. Initially, everything seemed promising. They inquired about my preferences, likes, and any medical concerns. I was pleased, but unfortunately, this information wasn't relayed to the massage therapist. I ended up with oil and hot towels on my back, but the massage fell short of being deep tissue! Moreover, the supposed hour-long massage lasted less than 30 minutes! Disappointing. However, the facial was fantastic. The esthetician took her time and even included a deep tissue neck and shoulder massage!
