I informed the proprietor that I would remove my unfavorable evaluation, yet I am still deeply distressed. Despite receiving a partial refund (which should have been full given the extent of the damage), it does not negate the harm caused. I initially spent a substantial amount to bleach and maintain my blonde hair, only to be left with a result showcasing yellow and platinum tones as depicted in the image. The outcome was dreadful, and as I cannot continue bleaching, I had to resort to dyeing my hair black today to conceal the mess they created. It is truly disheartening, as I may not be able to achieve that color again for years!
Mira is absolutely phenomenal!!! She transformed my tangled hair into a stunning cut and color! Her expertise as a colorist and stylist is exceptional! The entire salon staff is incredibly friendly, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Additionally, the pricing is very reasonable!!
I arrived with the intention of getting a more masculine haircut, but was informed that I could have short hair only if the stylist ensured it appeared "short yet feminine." Being a non-binary individual, I was unable to receive the service I desired due to the biases surrounding hairstyling and the way in which the stylist perceived me. While I acknowledge the challenges of styling straight hair, the haircut I received was not what I had envisioned. Although I managed to make it work by styling it at home, I should not have been made to feel "feminine" when all I wanted was a haircut that made me feel comfortable with my appearance.
