Alex is amazing - truly one of the best people I know in Elmira. The care and love they put into their services, their space, and their clients is unmatched! From the moment you step into their establishment, you can feel the warmth and dedication they pour into every detail. Alex's genuine passion for what they do shines through in every interaction, making each visit a truly uplifting experience. I’ve been seeing Alex for nearly two(!) years now, I truly cannot recommend them enough. Not only are they professional, passionate and a master of their craft, they’re mindblowingly empathetic and meet you right where you’re at with skincare, zero judgment. They take the time to expertly explain the products they use in an easy to understand way and work with you to come up with a holistic approach to address your skincare concerns. They made me realize that I actually have eyebrows and that I actually love them for the first time in my adult life. Their studio feels like a warm hug walking in. They’re also hilarious and kind. Very demure, very mindful.
Alex was lovely and their studio is very cozy and welcoming. This was my first time visiting and they took the time to sit with me at the start of the appointment to ask questions, discuss products I’m currently using, and make some recommendations for the skin issues that are top of mind for me at the moment. During my 90-minute facial session, Alex was very good at explaining what they were going to do and why, and made sure I was comfortable with everything throughout. They keep a truly judgement-free zone and I never felt that I couldn’t be honest when they asked me questions or pressured to buy products or supplies like I have been at other places in the past. The service itself was very relaxing and my skin felt so nice after the treatment. They also wrote down affordable and accessible product recommendations for me at the end, which is so helpful. I’ve already booked my next service with them so I can continue on in better skin care.
