I wear my hair natural and usually use extensions or do my own silk press, so I was hesitant about getting a professional straightening. After searching for a hair stylist in Detroit for weeks, I was fortunate to discover Jamila. During my initial appointment, my hair was treated, colored, and styled into a precise bob. This was the most exceptional full-service hair experience I have ever had.
I had braids for about 10 years, and took them out. So naturally there was some damage. I appreciate how Jamila communicates, her honesty, her advice and suggestions.
