On July 2, 2022, I visited this place for the first time based on reviews. I requested an overlay with a design, but they applied a tip due to a broken nail. I'm giving them 1 star because I wasn't informed that the nail technician was new; a neighboring customer had to tell me. My nails are sharp and uneven, with no buffing done. The design is passable, but I paid $79 for this, while the person next to me got a more intricate design on each nail for around $50. I should have asked for the price beforehand, but $79 is exorbitant. The technician seemed unsure of how much to charge me. I don't mind paying for quality service, but my experience was awful. Hopefully, I won't break a nail, and this serves as a lesson to always inquire about prices and the technician's experience level beforehand.
Absolutely awful service. I was billed $145 for glow-in-the-dark nails with no extras, and was even charged for a tiny heart design that was removed. To top it off, the nails don't even glow in the dark. The clear coat started chipping within 2-3 days. The pedicure left my feet in a terrible state. Always inquire about prices beforehand. A truly disappointing experience.
I opted for a full set of acrylic nails and a pedicure. With Marlena's guidance, I chose a lovely rosy hue. The cozy, intimate ambiance of the salon was delightful. I visited on a quiet Tuesday late afternoon and found the pricing for the full set and pedicure to be reasonable compared to other places I've been to. Overall, a fantastic experience.
