I can't even begin to describe how incredible my visit to Drybar Edina was! I went in for a blowout before a special event, and Alejandro did an absolutely fantastic job. My hair is unruly and frizzy, but he managed to make it incredibly shiny and smooth, all while keeping in mind that I was pressed for time. The rest of the team was so welcoming, and the hairstyles I saw them creating while I was there were all stunning! (The frizz in the picture is just because it was windy outside LOL)
In short: This place is fantastic, just communicate your desired style to your stylist, and they will definitely have the expertise to achieve it! Perfect for curly hair blowouts!
I hate to leave a negative review, but this DryBar really needs to focus on training their stylists. I recently moved here from the west coast, where I had a monthly membership. Since coming here and experiencing the quality of blowouts at this Edina location, I have decided to cancel my membership. I had the same stylist for 2 out of 3 visits in Edina, and both times I ended up with the exact same disappointing blowout that was nothing like what I requested (see photo below). Every blowout I've had at DryBar has been the beachy/relaxed curls/waves, like the Dirty Martini or Mai Tai. I'm not exaggerating when I say that the photo attached is what I got BOTH times from this stylist. I had to go home, wash my hair again, and give myself a proper blowout after wasting over $130 on these 2 subpar blowouts. Please train your stylists so they can confidently execute the requested styles. What's the point of clients choosing a style from the Lookbook if the stylists can't deliver and end up doing their own thing? It doesn't make sense. I'll be trying other locations in the future.
