This establishment has room for improvement in terms of business practices and customer feedback responsiveness. The environment feels stuffy, and the air conditioning is only activated upon request. Hair tools like dryers were found on the floor, and the hair combs contained old tangled strands. My request for a slight curl at the ends of my braids was disregarded, resulting in loose curls halfway through each braid. I felt uneasy about providing my own hair and had to suggest methods to secure the ends, leading to prolonged negotiations. Customers should be informed that hair can be sealed without hot water dipping, as demonstrated in various YouTube tutorials. I even brought a picture for reference. I felt pressured to use low-quality, itchy hair extensions. Despite expressing my dissatisfaction, the braider continued without addressing my concerns. The website listed the price as $160 with hair provided, yet I was charged $180 even though I supplied my own hair for a similar style but shorter length. There was an excessive amount of gel applied to my baby hairs, leaving them sticky and unsightly. Throughout the 3-hour session, the braiders conversed in another language among themselves and with the TV on, making me feel excluded. There were multiple interruptions as they showed each other their phone screens, pausing the braiding process three times. It seemed as though the clients were disregarded in favor of their personal conversations. When I requested a side part, I was told I should have mentioned it earlier, prompting me to question why individual preferences are not considered. This experience highlights the need for braiding salons to enhance their flexibility and customer service standards.
