I have been a patron here for a few years now, so I was at ease with anyone tending to my hair. However, that assumption turned out to be a grave error. The woman positioned right by the entrance, an older, slender lady with glasses, completely botched my hair. I arrived at 10:16 am, clearly showed her the color and cut I desired. She quoted me a staggering $200. Reluctantly, I agreed due to my past positive experiences here. She started making excuses, claiming my hair was too dark for the color to take (despite my hair being brown, not black, and never having been dyed black). She left me in bleach for over 3 hours, then proceeded to wash and RE-DYE my hair multiple times at the sink, extending the process until around 3:00 pm. When she finally brought me back to the chair for cutting, she failed to deliver the layered cut I requested and rushed through the entire process in less than 5 minutes. Frustrated by the lateness and the disappointing result, I declined a blow dry. She even suggested I purchase a shampoo to LIGHTEN THE COLOR! Upon asking for the total, she demanded $220 😓... Despite my belief in tipping, I left a tip, though she truly did not earn it. If you visit this salon, seek out Martin or a young, short lady with ashy blonde hair. But steer clear of the lady with glasses!!
Everyone is incredibly pleasant and always wearing a smile. My daughters are Elena and Chayito... I have been a loyal customer for 30 years... I adore how they always style my hair beautifully.
