I have a wedding coming up and went to get my nails and toes done to match the dress I bought. I selected one color for both my toes and hands. Somewhere in the change over from my pedicure to my manicure, the color changed. It's not the same shade and looks awful (not to mention the layers are way too thick and very lumpy). As I was leaving a customer brought it to my attention that they KNEW they mixed up the colors, as she heard them talking about it because it was her color they used on me. So instead of making it right, they just finished in the wrong color and now I'm out the money and have to go somewhere else for the right matching color. For those that are thinking 'why I don't say anything' the colors are similar and I couldn't see my toes to know how off they actually were until all was said and done. I honestly would not have reviewed assuming it was an honest mistake. But the fact that another client mentioned they overheard the conversation of the nail techs admitting they just didn't want to redo the nails properly.....unprofessional
I was in town for a wedding and decided to check out this cute nail salon for a full set and a pedicure. Everyone was nice. I loved that they have a fully stocked bar inside and a drink is included with your services. I enjoyed my pedicure and my nails were really cute. Gel polish on acrylic nails, simple. Well here I am back home and not even 2 weeks later, my gel Polish has peeled! I’m so upset. I feel like because it was close to closing, (my appt was at 5 but it took 2hrs on my services, not complaining) my tech did not apply the proper coating for my nails. I do not do any work that requires chemicals or constant hand washing so that is not the issue. My toe polish has yet to chip and I didn’t get gel just regular so kudos on that. But spending $150 (tip included) I’m very disappointed. For reference date of service was 9/23. My polish started chipping on 10/1 and just now peeled even further back on the left hand. The right hand you can see where it has also chipped.
This is the only place I will go to get my nails done. I have been going to Alex for over 5 years. My nails are always perfect. The staff is friendly. The salon has a fully stocked bar making it the perfect place to go with a group of friends. Highly recommend!
