Visited for a nail appointment yesterday (spent 3.5 hours there!) and upon returning home, I noticed MANY issues.. the gel x was heavily layered under all my nails, one nail was uneven, two nails had cracks, my toenails had gel polish with bubbles and peeling. I promptly contacted Taylor and scheduled an appointment for today to fix my toes and switch the gel x to acrylic. Upon arrival, Taylor acknowledged all the mistakes on my nails and toes. I was then confronted by Jordan and interrogated about why I was dissatisfied with the nails, despite showing him the unsanitary condition due to the poorly applied gel x. He agreed to remove them as requested but refused to replace with acrylic. Shortly after, he changed his stance and stated he wouldn't remove the nails, insisting I go elsewhere. This was my preferred salon where I've invested a significant amount of money and not only was I belittled but also subjected to yelling.. highly unprofessional. Don’t be deceived by the positive reviews, as they seem to be incentives for 20-30% discounts off your bill.. after observing yesterday how multiple clients were attended to without James or Taylor washing their hands even once. I will be reaching out to the health department. I have videos of their lack of hygiene before attending to another customer.. My fingernails are sore from being cut three times. Taylor mentioned she would rectify my toes, but following the altercation with James, I informed her I'd seek services elsewhere as I felt uneasy. It's unfortunate it came to this, but James' outburst ensures I won't return. I paid $160 for the service and left a 20% tip.. only to not have them removed.. now I have to spend more to fix my toes and have my nails soaked off & redone… I explained to James I fully intended to pay for a full set of acrylic nails, but he was too offended by my return to express dissatisfaction with the quality. Regrettably, two customers had to witness this ordeal.
Ms. Taylor took her time on me. Pedicure was incredibly relaxing and didn’t feel rushed! That’s quite rare to find these days! I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of the smaller salon. It’s also a great perk that they frequently offer discounts. I had 20% off on a Saturday! Unheard of! I will ABSOLUTELY be back!
Appreciate that they were able to accommodate both me and my daughter at the same time when we needed. Charming little spot tucked away off the main road!
