It seems that individuals can obtain complimentary pet food at the humane society. Recently, I accompanied a neighbor to the facility, and he left with bags of dog food for his furry friends. The community in Duncan appears to be sharply divided between those with resources and those without, with little interaction between the two. I appreciate the Humane Society's acknowledgment that humans have a responsibility to care for dogs, as we have domesticated and evolved them from wolves. We created them, so it is our duty to look after them. Thank you, Humane Society!
The facility is impeccably clean, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the animals are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped. The animals are in good health. We adopted the most adorable little puppy from here. If you are searching for a furry companion to love, I highly recommend starting your search here.
In January, my partner and I adopted a stunning black puppy named Ophelia from Adopt a Pet at Stephens County Humane Society. Now known as Julia, she is 8 months old, full of energy, and deeply cherished. She has become our loyal companion and a loving sibling to our aging black lab. Julia is great with our children, and we are thankful to Stephens County Humane Society. After a lengthy search, we found the perfect dog within our budget, and we were fortunate to adopt her on a discount day! I urge you to adopt a pet - there are animals waiting to shower you with love. I cannot imagine my life without Julia, all thanks to SCHS. 🩷🐾
