I've been a regular here for a while, and I can't praise this place enough. The staff is incredibly welcoming. They treat clients of all ages with equal respect. I see Bobbie, who is very skilled. She perfectly matched hair extensions for my wedding and was patient and knowledgeable whenever I wanted to change my hair color before the event. I highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a friendly place.
My first visit to the salon, and I adore how kind everyone is. I love my hair; it looks healthy and nice again.
I was quite let down by my visit. I came in for my prom hair appointment. I had booked a haircut for teens aged 13-18, even though I am 18. Over the phone, I was informed it would be $38, including curling as long as it wasn't a special occasion style. My hair was already washed, so Linda just trimmed a bit. She was very friendly. I asked for loose curls included in the price, and she quickly curled my hair. I noticed the girl next to me was getting very precise curls, which I assume is the pricier style. She had been getting her hair done since the start of my appointment and was still being styled after I was done. Linda told me it was $45 when she finished, which confused me, but I didn't argue. When I went to pay, the receptionist said it was $55. I insisted it was $45. She firmly said that was what Linda told her and asked if I wanted her to double-check. I don't know if Linda changed her mind about the price, but having it changed twice without my consent was unfair. I ended up paying $45. I was done in half an hour and felt like more care could have been taken. I didn't even get the shampoo experience and felt overcharged. The stylists were nice, and my hair looked good, but my experience didn't match the reviews.
