I am extremely disappointed. I visited Perfect Nails the day prior to my wedding for my bridal nails. I went in for a pedicure and a gel full set. I showed the technician the design I desired for my gel set, and she commenced with my pedicure. The pedicure was excellent, she was incredibly kind and patient. Then we proceeded with the gel set. I had a feeling something was amiss when she began by informing me that I have "ditches," meaning my nails/nail beds are uneven and I should consume more kale and spinach (I took it lightly at first and was understanding until it was time for the design). She brought out a vibrant green paint and started drawing lines and misshapen ovals. I let it slide and allowed her to proceed, thinking she would refine it/add finer details later. She did not. I deeply regret not taking photos of the "art" she applied to my nails. It bore no resemblance to the picture and was very, very amateur level work. She then proceeded to add loose glitter to my nail. I did not request that, nor did I want it. She did not seek my approval before applying it. When she asked if I liked it and I expressed my dislike, and asked if we could remove the leaves as well, she furrowed her brows and exclaimed, "remove them? I just did them? You saw them, why didn't you inform me you didn't like them then?" I once again explained as politely as I could that I was simply trusting the process and waiting to see if she was finished. She became frustrated and mentioned she would still have to charge me for the design since she had spent time on it (all of 2 minutes she spent on all 4 fingers). I agreed to pay for it. She then stated she would provide me with holographic since I still had to pay for the design. At that point, I felt uncomfortable and anxious and just wanted to leave, so I acquiesced. When it came time to settle the bill, she demanded $165 for this service. The pedicure was $75, fair enough. The set was $65, plus an additional $5 for the design. Understandable. Then she added an extra $20 for "length" and $5 for paint removal. Something about that extra $20 did not sit well with me, as she had not mentioned it at any point earlier. Nevertheless, I did not receive what I desired and left near tears with the outcome. I will not be returning and regret leaving a tip.
