I had my hair done on Sunday, but it wasn't the style I wanted. I reached out on Monday, and the woman initially claimed she wasn't there. After that, she said I could come in. Due to traffic and lateness, I couldn't make it. Today, I messaged her about coming in since I have an event tomorrow and need my hair fixed. No response. I sent pictures showing how it looked after months, but still no reply! They refuse to refund me. Avoid this shop, and if you go, steer clear of the shortest, chunky lady who I'm pretty sure is the owner. Sadly, I don't know her name. It's disappointing because I used to be a regular, but not anymore.
I've frequented this place for a few years. Fantu or the other regular young lady has styled my daughter's and my hair a few times with no issues. Fantu did a great job with my wavy weave. During our recent visit, my daughter only wanted 2 cornrows for her trip. I thought her hair was too thick and expected them to suggest more, but they did two neat, nicely sized braids in my daughter's thick hair.
In my time at this salon, it was truly a nightmare. The staff was unprofessional and rude, and the lack of cleanliness was alarming. I would advise against choosing this salon. Look for a place that respects its customers and can deliver on their promises.
