Had a terrible time at the salon. The nail technician was impolite and complained about my nails. It was my first attempt at using dip powder because I wanted my nails to be thin. After she dipped them, I mentioned that they were too thick. If I wanted them thick, I would have stuck to my regular gel nails. She was extremely rude to me, and I ended up with several cuts on three fingers, they were actually bleeding during the process. I usually avoid going to Walmart, but I was in a pinch, and I guess you get what you pay for, which wasn't cheap by the way.
I used to adore this establishment and frequented it every few weeks for years for my gel manicures and spa pedicures until one of the staff, in a rush, damaged my nail beds during a gel removal. Last week, I decided to give them another chance as I didn't want to worry about my nails for a while, and it had been years since the nail bed incident. I thought I would remove the gel myself this time. Yesterday, I noticed that the gel on most of my nails was starting to peel from the bottom. I called the salon to inquire about repairing them today and the associated cost. A lady answered, didn't allow me to speak, muttered something quickly, and abruptly ended the call. I tried calling back, but there was no answer. I understand they may be busy, but that was very impolite. I paid $73 for a set of gels (including a pedicure), waited for 3 hours last week to receive the services, and now I have to go elsewhere for a repair. Lesson learned. I will not be returning.
A wonderful spot to indulge and pamper your hands and feet. I like to treat myself occasionally. The individuals there are exceptional!
