My husband and I had a negative experience at a spa in Slingerlands operated by Massage Envy. Despite our long memberships, we were treated poorly, leading me to consider canceling my membership. I have 11 unused services that I am willing to transfer to another member before canceling. This level of disappointment and mistreatment is unacceptable from a service provider.
I had a really disappointing experience at a spa recently. I signed up for a monthly facial plan, but they never provided the service after deducting $75 from my account each month. Every time I scheduled an appointment, they would give excuses to reschedule, leading to a cycle of cancellations and rescheduling. Despite numerous calls to the Slingerlands location, I never received a callback or resolution. I had to cancel my debit card to stop the charges, which finally prompted them to contact me for payment. This lack of reliability and service is unacceptable, and I will not recommend this spa to anyone.
I want to report an issue with the manager at a spa in Slingerlands, New York. During a massage session, I felt uncomfortable with the masseuse's technique and requested to stop the session. Upon returning to the lobby, the manager confronted me, insinuating that I should have known the masseuse only does light work. His attitude was confrontational and unwarranted, especially considering my long-standing membership. I believe communication and respect are essential in such settings, and I hope for a more professional approach in the future.
