I showed the stylist three photos of layered hairstyles for my long hair that reaches past my bra line. Unfortunately, I ended up with a haircut that resembles a jellyfish - no layers in sight. Initially, my hair looked great leaving the salon, but within an hour, the curls fell out, leaving me with an awkward look. To make matters worse, the gloss they applied vanished quickly.
