Yesterday marked my initial visit here, sans appointment, and Nancy managed to squeeze me into her schedule due to a cancellation...what luck! The reviews truly reflect the essence of this establishment, and I couldn't be more pleased with my haircut and color! Nancy is a skilled stylist who grasped precisely what I desired, and our conversation was delightful as well 😊 Many thanks, Nancy! I shall wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to all seeking a top-notch hair salon.
I chanced upon this quaint store while driving by and felt compelled to stop. I sought a little something for my spouse and daughter. Upon entering, Nancy inquired if I had a specific item in mind, to which I replied that I was simply browsing. After perusing the offerings, I selected two items and proceeded to the checkout, where she assisted me. Despite the steep prices, I take pride in supporting small businesses, hence I made my purchase and departed. While exchanging messages with my spouse in the car for about 3-4 minutes, I heard a firm knock on the window. Two elderly gentlemen stood outside. I inquired if they needed assistance, and they demanded that I vacate the premises. When I questioned the reason, stating that I had just made a purchase, they accused me of trespassing. I explained that I had only just left the store and had not caused any disturbance. They displayed a confrontational demeanor and demanded my departure. Dishearteningly, I hope this treatment was not due to my Latino heritage. Shortly thereafter, I called the store and recounted the incident to Nancy. She mentioned that they became uneasy when customers lingered in the parking lot after leaving the store. I expressed that this was not a valid excuse, as we had interacted amicably, and I had shown no disrespect or aggression. Such behavior is entirely unjustifiable and unacceptable, particularly towards a paying customer. I was welcomed when making a purchase but shunned while in my car, simply minding my own affairs? Regrettably, she has forfeited my patronage indefinitely.
