**Proceed with caution!** Today, I ventured in for an eyebrow wax. I had phoned in the day prior and was informed of a buy one, get one free eyebrow waxing deal at $13. Notably, my brows are naturally light and thin, so I had let them grow out for about 3 years. The plan was to visit a reputable salon for a quality fix. That plan went awry. I was left waiting by a man whom I suspect wasn't even an employee (clad in blue collar attire) and disregarded by the sole female staff member. Upon finally being ushered to a seat, I noticed the dirty sink and lukewarm wax (leading to painful tugging and pulling during application). After the initial strip, I caught a whiff of alcohol emanating from her. Simultaneously, she accidentally dripped wax outside the intended area on my eyebrow, clearly a mistake. I felt it, and despite her attempts to downplay it by handing me a mirror (after removing excess wax), I discovered she had completely botched my right brow. I've attached a photo showcasing the bald spot.
