DO NOT VISIT HERE. I chose this place due to a slightly lower cost and its proximity to my residence. Occasionally, I encounter ingrown nails. Not severe, I just prefer a specific shape to prevent it. The technician was quite rough, but I have a high pain threshold, so it was bearable. However, that night, I woke up in excruciating pain. It felt like tiny needles in my toes. I attempted to treat it with hydrogen peroxide, Polysporin, Neosporin, and soaking my toes as they were infected. Despite a week of this regimen, there was no improvement. Eventually, I had to seek urgent care as the infection spread to my tissue. I reluctantly took a week of antibiotics (I dislike taking medication, making this even more disappointing). While the infection wasn't completely gone, the pain subsided. It has been three weeks, and my toes are still not back to normal. Spend the extra $5 and go to the place down the street. Don't be frugal like me, as this is the consequence.
I always request Tina as my nail technician. She is gentle, attentive, and consistently delivers excellent results.
To begin, I must acknowledge that my nails look fantastic. However, the ordeal I endured to achieve them is a different story. The nail technician seemed determined to inflict as much pain before I spoke up (which I didn't because I'm not one to complain), but that's not the main reason for my negative review. Throughout my entire visit, I observed the technician texting on her phone instead of focusing on my nails. While I understand the occasional response to a message or call, stopping work on my nails to text repeatedly was unacceptable. Thankfully, I didn't have any plans following this appointment. After 20 years of patronizing Apple Nail, this will be my last visit. It was an exceedingly long and painful experience. On a positive note, Brian, the owner, excels at nail services.
