I adore my stylist and have followed her to various salons over the years. I also appreciate the other stylists and management at Tate. However, what left me shocked was that only three of us were wearing masks in the entire salon: my stylist, the receptionist (intermittently), and myself. As a healthcare professional, I witness daily the impacts of the pandemic, so walking in and seeing almost all the stylists and clients (except me) without masks was disheartening. I almost walked out. It is disappointing that such a fantastic salon sets such a low standard and example for safety. Walk a day in my shoes, and I guarantee you would prioritize wearing masks.
I cannot express enough positive things about this salon and its team! As a former hair artist, it can be challenging at times to relinquish control and trust someone else. This was not the case at Salon TATE! Maribeth is my stylist, and she is exceptional. Josh cuts my son's hair, and he is fantastic. I have also received cuts from Katie and Tim. Equally EXCEPTIONAL! It is evident that everyone there is well-trained and professional. From the moment you step in and are greeted by the welcoming smile of Danielle, to the elegant ambiance of the salon, you know you are in the right place! I wholeheartedly recommend this salon to anyone and everyone!
I had my hair styled by Katie Perkins. I had been searching for a skilled hair artist since I relocated to Texas. I sought someone passionate about their craft and truly a master at their trade. Katie embodied everything I had been seeking. She anticipated my hair's needs before I even spoke and delivered exactly what I desired. She is gifted, knowledgeable, with years of experience, truly an artist! I highly recommend her! I will not seek services elsewhere. Thank you, Katie.
