I adore my stylist and have followed her to various salons over the years. I also appreciate the other stylists and management at Tate. However, what left me shocked was that only three of us were wearing masks in the entire salon: my stylist, the receptionist (intermittently), and myself. As a healthcare professional, I witness daily the impacts of the pandemic, so walking in and seeing almost all the stylists and clients (except me) without masks was disheartening. I almost walked out. It is disappointing that such a fantastic salon sets such a low standard and example for safety.
