I have been a loyal customer of LV Nails for over a decade, but since they relocated next to A+ Crab after closing at Chapel Hill Mall, my child and I have been dissatisfied with our nail services. Unfortunately, this past weekend will be the final time we use their services due to the poor quality of work. Despite requesting a simple French tip polish overlay on my nails, the technician struggled and had to seek help from the owner. The manager then tried to convince me to get gel polish instead, causing a scene in the salon. After a long and frustrating process, my total bill was much higher than expected, and my nails chipped within days. I will not be returning and advise others to seek services elsewhere.
I have been a customer of LV Nails for about eight years, starting when they were at Chapel Hill Mall. Tina, who took over and relocated to Howe Ave, is friendly and does a good job on my pedicures. Sandy is also skilled and pleasant. However, I have encountered rudeness from an older staff member, which is disappointing considering we are paying for a service. Despite this, I would have given a five-star rating.
My child and I arrived for a pedicure and a manicure, but when it was time for the manicure, they insisted my child should wait for an adult to go first even though we were there before.
