I had a full sleeve tattoo done by Andy 7 years ago, and since then, I've become heavily tattooed and even won awards for some of my pieces. I've visited various tattoo artists over the years, but my experience with Andy was disappointing. He took advantage of my lack of knowledge as a college student and promised that my sleeve would be completed before my military deployment. However, he was consistently unprepared, causing the process to drag on for over a year. I had to make a 4-hour drive for each appointment after graduating from university. When I arrived, he would spend the first few hours designing on the spot because he never planned ahead. He would also cut our sessions short by several hours due to other commitments. Andy even convinced me that my sleeve was finished when there were obvious gaps in the design. Despite tipping him generously, he eventually stopped charging me for our last few sessions, indicating his own guilt. Fortunately, I eventually found a skilled and organized artist. Looking back after 8 years and working with some of the best tattoo artists globally, I can confidently say that Andy is subpar and disorganized. I would recommend seeking a different artist. If possible, explore other options as, at best, you'll end up with a mediocre tattoo here. Most positive reviews seem to come from inexperienced individuals or are selectively filtered, but I believe honest feedback is crucial. While I can't speak for the entire shop, based on my experience with Andy, I suggest looking elsewhere for quality work.
