Visited this spot a few times. Had acrylics done by Peaches and Pauline on separate occasions, going back every 2 weeks. First visit was a full acrylic set by Robin, leading to the need for a refill after 2 weeks due to lifted nails. Asked Pauline about removing the lifted nails instead of overlaying new acrylic. Pauline suggested only gluing certain nails and sealing the lifted parts with acrylic. Not being a nail expert, I trusted her judgment. Although my nails looked good, issues persisted. On my next visit, Peaches did my nails, and again they lifted. When I inquired about removal, Peaches clipped off the lifted acrylic and applied new acrylic over the old ones, resulting in unsightly nails. Recently, I went to Noir Nails on Dogwood, where the technician discovered green fungus under the acrylic. He mentioned it could be due to cheap products or improper sterilization at Pauline's salon, or lack of expertise in applying and removing acrylic, causing trapped moisture and fungus growth. This was my first time encountering nail fungus after 30 years of nail treatments. I will never return to that place. Three visits led to severe fungus. Additionally, there were long wait times due to only 2 or 3 technicians available. Peaches also gossiped about others and complained frequently. Be cautious in choosing where you go. Never again for me.
My little one's initial experience getting her nails done, and it was truly delightful. The young lady who worked on her nails was incredibly sweet and took her time. Knowing my daughter's high energy level, I appreciate her patience. Thank you so much dear! I hope the extra tip will show my gratitude for your hard work 😭😭❤️
