In a professional setting, the ambiance was pleasant, and the chair was quite comfortable, which was a plus since the session took a while. I rated it 2 stars because the final look didn't match my expectations. I had booked a light volume (cat-eye) set. I showed a picture of a different set (her previous work) to indicate what I wanted. However, what I received was much fuller and not the same as the reference. The photo on the $100 light volume promotion was also significantly lighter. I had mentioned it was my first set and that I preferred a more natural length. The technician seemed enthusiastic to work on my lashes. At one point, I dozed off in the chair and overheard her doing a live stream towards the end of the session. I was unaware she was recording; I had assumed she was on a phone call. There was no mention of consent for media release on the booking platform, which made me uncomfortable upon realizing it. After she completed the session, I immediately noticed that the lashes were too heavy. I inquired if what I got was indeed a light set, to which she confirmed. She explained that she added more volume to ensure they stayed full for my upcoming birthday. I also mentioned that the length was a bit long for my liking. Although she disclosed the size she used, being new to this, I wasn't familiar with the different lengths. Visually, the lashes appeared denser than the reference photo, and one eye seemed fuller than the other. My lack of satisfaction was evident, yet she didn't seem inclined to address it. I chose this salon based on positive reviews and recommendations. While my experience wasn't terrible, it didn't align with the quality of work I had seen and hoped for.
