Had a haircut with Erica. Scheduled for a trim but was pressured into paying extra for an unnecessary wash that she insisted on. Despite informing Penzone German Village that I would be about 10 minutes late due to a meeting, I arrived 5 minutes behind schedule and had to wait an additional 5-10 minutes for Erica to start. Throughout the appointment, she complained about other clients canceling on her. I had asked for a curtain bang, showing her pictures of my previous styles. As she cut my bangs, she inquired if it was short enough, to which I replied, "No, I might ask you to trim up to my eyes." Her response was, "Well, I'm 20 minutes late for my next client." While I admit I was tardy, she insisted on the unnecessary wash (and charged for it) when I was only 5 minutes behind! Utterly unprofessional and frankly impolite. I'm unsure of what prompted such a reaction, but I should not have paid for the wash upgrade or tipped. If you visit Penzone German Village, consider avoiding appointments with Erica. I will not be returning.
My original wedding stylist fell through, and in a pinch, I booked a last-minute slot at Penzone. I simply requested a soft wave, and they exceeded my expectations. My hairstyle held up all night, even through all the dancing 😁
Always a delightful experience visiting this establishment. Gary is exceptional if you manage to secure an appointment with him. He effortlessly transforms my unruly hair into a fresh, perfect look every time I step in. The team here is also incredibly friendly!
